MATTHEW BEEHLER
Matthew as a Founding Partner and Creative Director at eco, aspires to envision and create memorable, culturally enriching places of lasting value. With over 25 years of professional experience, filled with the adventure of constant global travel, he helps clients develop sustainable and contextually relevant projects that contribute to the community of mankind. Working in harmony with the environment, he has devoted his professional life to realizing destinations that stimulate, motivate and encourage a positive experience for all users.
Over the course of his career, Matthew has specialized in the vision and design of complex large scale mixed-use projects. His projects integrate culture, lifestyle, density, transportation and the natural environment creating designs that reinforce meaningful planning solutions that evoke emotion and spirit, adding value and satisfying the clients’ aspirations. This makes him uniquely qualified for design of projects in global emerging markets.
Prior to founding eco, Matthew was Partner and Senior Associate and Director of Planning at WATG. Here he founded and established the Master Planning and Urban Design Studio with a strong focus on project visioning, design leadership, staff growth and mentoring of young and upcoming design talent.
CAMILLE BEEHLER
Camille as a Founding Partner and Creative Director at CBLD | eco brings to the team 30 years of global experience in landscape design, master planning and business management.
With a focus on residential and sustainable design, Camille is creative, accommodating and sensitive to clients needs and budget, creating outdoor living environments which are cost effective and promote long term sustainability.
A lifelong traveler and lover of all things design, Camille’s extensive body of work across the globe includes private residences in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Newport Coast and the southern California coastal community's.
Prior to founding CBLD | eco Camille has worked for Walt Disney Imagineering, Lifescapes International, Peridian Asia (Singapore) and EDAW.
eco was created and founded in 2017 by Camille and Matthew Beehler. Mathew has deep roots and passion for all aspects of design, which permeates the entire practice. With over 25 years of experience, their combined expertise spans a dedication and passion for thought provoking design discourse in landscape, planning, urban design and architecture.
Located in the creative Southern California Community of Costa Mesa, a rapidly gentrifying area know for its arts culture, community and diverse lifestyle.
